Applied Technology Services is seeking an inside sales resource for IT products and services. The position supports Outside Sales Account Executives and is located in Middle River, MD.

 

Job Description

 

  • Acquisition of new accounts via sales processes including cold calling into targeted accounts
  • Retention of existing accounts
  • Responsible for organizing marketing plans so as to attain sales target set by the organization
  • Supporting outside sales personnel to enhance personal and team targets
  • Responsible for quoting, up-selling and account management as a reseller of servers, storage, desktop/laptop, security products and maintenance services
  • Feedback to sales reps on activity/ opportunities
  • Log activity and opportunities in internal sales tracking tools
  • Meet weekly, monthly and quarterly metrics on distributions and call plans
  • Maintain “clean” contact lists for all customer accounts.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or related field is a plus
  • Student Mentality – willingness to take direction and learn
  • Ability to build rapport with clients
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment
  • Ability to hit personal and team goals  
  • Work in a fast-paced environment
  • Education and general understanding of Information Technology concepts
  • Reliable transportation to/from the office on a daily basis
