Applied Technology Services is seeking an inside sales resource for IT products and services. The position supports Outside Sales Account Executives and is located in Middle River, MD.
Job Description
- Acquisition of new accounts via sales processes including cold calling into targeted accounts
- Retention of existing accounts
- Responsible for organizing marketing plans so as to attain sales target set by the organization
- Supporting outside sales personnel to enhance personal and team targets
- Responsible for quoting, up-selling and account management as a reseller of servers, storage, desktop/laptop, security products and maintenance services
- Feedback to sales reps on activity/ opportunities
- Log activity and opportunities in internal sales tracking tools
- Meet weekly, monthly and quarterly metrics on distributions and call plans
- Maintain “clean” contact lists for all customer accounts.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or related field is a plus

- Education and general understanding of Information Technology concepts
