The Sales Manager is someone with prior success selling IT solutions from the desktop to the enterprise with experience working at all levels of the customer organization from end users to C-level executives. The successful candidate will excel in pushing deals through the sales cycle and working with partners and vendors on creative solutions to best meet our clients needs.  The Sales Manager must have a passion for winning.  

Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing a team of account managers
• Create, track, and execute sales activity through account management team and inside sales
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, vendors, and internal employees
• Deliver engaging presentations in person and over the phone
• Prepare proposal responses for RFP’s and SOW’s
• Manage relationships and perform outreach to vendors and potential partners, as appropriate
• Coordinate internal solutions training for account managers, solutions engineers and inside sales
• Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for technology management issues, including the services and solutions ATS provides
• Train new sales resources on internal systems, contracts, customers and solutions
• Analyze marketing and sales data to develop insights and make recommendations on areas for optimization
• Analyze market data to help direct marketing in the development of targeted campaign strategies and content on a continuous basis
• Monitor and maintain data quality in internal systems and make recommendations for improvements

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Experience and understanding of reseller marketplace
• Understanding of public sector contracts and organizations
• Experience in several aspects of IT sales, including desktop, enterprise, security, staffing, consulting
• The ability to effectively communicate with internal and external entities
• Strong communication (both verbal and written)
• Strong organization, and time management skills
• Self-driven, motivated, and results-oriented, able to work independently, as well as contribute to a team
• Ability to multi-task and to quickly change pace on a moment’s notice
• High level of accountability; willing to take ownership and solve problems
• Dedication to excellent customer service, timeliness, and the ability to perform under tight deadlines
• Computer proficiency within MS Office Suite - Excel, Word, Outlook
• Solid problem solving and consultative skills are a must
• Must be able to solve problems thoroughly and work well under pressure


Minimum of 15 years in sales
Minimum of 5 years selling to C-level decision makers
At least 5 years in sales management, preferred
Strong background in technology sales, including at the Enterprise or Data Center level
Strong communication and presentation skills
Experience managing partnerships with enterprise organizations, preferred
Experience working with MD State Government organizations, preferred

The Account Manager is someone with prior experience for managing an array of accounts, achieving high sales targets and developing relationships with their customers. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, have excellent communication, writing and presentation skills.

Job Description

• Prospecting via phone and customer visits throughout the State of Maryland
• Initiates sales process by scheduling appointments; making initial presentation; asking questions; understanding account requirements
• Market and sell ATS solutions and services to decision makers in a protected and vast territory.
• Generate new business revenues as well as help protect and grow existing SLED clients through the identification and development of new business opportunities
• Learn and understand all ATS solutions and services
• Coordinate with partners, vendors and inside solutions engineers in the develop of solutions
• Meets or exceeds quarterly sales objectives
• Expands sales in existing accounts by introducing new products and services

The HR Specialist performs human resources related duties at the professional level to implement daily activities and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers in assigned areas including but not limited to: recruitment/selection, compensation, benefits management, and implementation of policies and procedures in accordance with the mission, core values, and purposes of the company.

  • Administers various employee benefit programs, such as group insurance, life, medical and dental; 401(K) and flexible spending accounts.

  • Verifies the calculation of the monthly premiums statements for all group insurance policies and maintains statistical data relative to premiums, claims, and costs.  Resolves administrative problems with the carrier representatives

  • Coordinate all audits and information requests related to workers compensation, benefits, 401K, insurance and unemployment




  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Labor Relations or Business

  • Demonstrated effectiveness in written and verbal communication

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), including PeopleSoft

  • Knowledge of compensation strategy, performance management, employee relations, safety practices and talent acquisition, and the ability to apply this information in a manner that is compliant with relevant employment law

  • Experience with creating a culture of engagement, collaboration and teamwork

  • Capable of compiling and analyzing employment data to guide strategic planning

The Marketing Associate is someone with prior experience organizing, coordinating and execute marketing campaigns, events, sales promotions and programs. The successful candidate will manage regional events, develop and track email campaigns, create downloadable content and blog regularly, all in an effort to expand the company’s digital footprint and convert leads to customers. This role requires a high level of creativity, attention to detail, and project management skills.

Job Description

  • Manage various email campaigns, including the template designs, calls-to-action, and content used in our email sends.
  • Grow our email list organically, not through bought or rented lists
  • Build and manage rich content that attracts a qualified audience to our electronic media (including blog posts, whitepapers, ebooks, reports, webinars, infographics, etc.).
  • Design and execute regional marketing events for our customers
  • Manage and coordinate ATS presence at regional trade shows and conferences
  • Develop collateral and stock materials for distribution by external sales
  • Work with web administrator to make changes/updates to our website
  • Identify activities that establish ATS as a market leader and execute against those
  • Make funds requests and submit proof of execution paperwork, as necessary
  • Create product content (e.g. sales enablement documentation, case studies, product videos, website copy, blog posts) to articulate the benefits of our products to the world.

  • BA/BS or equivalent working experience
  • Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use data to inform all decisions
  • Past experience with email marketing, lead nurturing, marketing automation, and web analytics
  • Excellent understanding of marketing concepts and metrics
  • Excellent writer and communicator (in both the written and verbal form)
